Cinema Events at Number 8
Tuesday 5th February - 7.00pm
Exhibition on Screen: Young Picasso explores the upbringing and the learning that led to his extraordinary achievements, visiting three cities that influenced him - Malaga, Barcelona and Paris - and focuses on specific artworks from these early years.
Art in Remembrance Exhibition
The Rev. Claire Lording has invited us to hold another Art in Remembrance Exhibition at the Abbey in the weeks immediately before and after Remembrance Sunday. This early notice should give those who wish to exhibit plenty of time to create appropriate artwork - it is open for new works only - i.e. nothing shown last year.
The theme remains the same - Remembering the victims of all wars. The exhibition is open to ALL in all forms of art - painting, graphic art, photography, poetry, sculpture etc. The artist does not have to be a Pershore Arts member. Last year’s event was small but well supported by the public.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss, please contact Peter Horsburgh at peter.horsburgh@theclocksmith.co.uk to be added to the mailing list.
